And a single moderator cabal called DefaultMods, which the admins are in on, controls the vast majority of the popular subs. /r/The_Cabal.

Why sanitize it? These are public figures on the site. They deserve to be called on their bullshit. You wouldn't omit the names of legislators that sign a horrible bill

I think that one of them is no longer active mod and stepped down from their duty’s as a massive moderator on Reddit

Green is on 26.

Don't tell me you can mod 26 fucking subreddits and still have an outside life.

I wanna say this is really suspicious and way too much power for several people to have over the site.

I also wanna say these are people that have a lot of free time and/or nothing better to do, and probably don’t really do *that* much with all these subreddits.

To be safe I blocked most of them. I just don’t want to see or interact with the “average” reddit user and I think people that obviously use Reddit that much are the same kind of people that post dumb shit. It’s funny how I got off of Facebook because of people spewing their opinions and now Reddit is becoming the next social media I dislike.

They raised all this hell over someone pointing what they "mod" with their silly named, anonymous social media accounts.

Both the admins and the mods are bad. How is this platform not dead already?

Edit: don't make me too popular.

6 people control what 300,000,000 monthly users see. Hopefully this issue will be investigated by government bodies in an anti-trust scope

Remember back when Meta Reddit Cancer was a thing? The concept was soooo unreal because reddit was just a small indie website!

Can I just jump in and ask (I admit I’m not familiar with behind the scenes issues here) do we really believe that reddit, as a *company* is not in direct control of their top 100 subreddits? Whatever their politics are here, I’m sure they must realize issues like this require damage control. Which leads me to believe they are malicious in deceptively trying to control what is shown on the site while maintaining a facade of community moderation, or incompetent in that they lack an adequate level of communication, fairness, and transparency among users.

And now I must repent at the altar of Snoo and confess my sins. Please don’t ban me for this. I promise I love brother Xi.

This explains the echo chamber that is created on Reddit so clearly and why "social media" is anything but social.
