In 2023 we had an awesome two day “festival” (more so a two back to back stadium shows) at Target Field. It was a lot of fun and it was great to see more concerts at the ballpark.
After getting sued by Wisconsin’s Summerfest for trademark infringement all the socials and web presence for this festival were deleted - and we didn’t get another one in 2024 (although there was plenty of good Target field concerts last season in its place)
Do you think we will be getting another TC Summerfest with a new name? Or was this a one off?
From my perspective - after not selling as well as they hoped and the name thing, they must have just decided to cut their loses.
Honestly they could’ve had a better name to avoid this all. Grand Slam Music Fest, Twins Summer Jam, KILLERSBrew Root Beer fest and friends (that���s a bad joke)
Would love more concerts at Target field this summer - hope they bring something similar to TC Summerfest back.

I don't see this promoter attempting this big of a festival again soon, but they might try something in farther areas to build back up to something like it. I hope they learned from this, though.

I just want summer SET. Best fest ever. Force field is sort of like it tho, can’t wait for that. Breakaway will also be dope
