Hello everyone,

I work as a software engineer in a startup f Tunis, and bich na9el soon lentreprise okhra lbarra men Tunis b9odret raby.

Thing is andy periode de passation de 3 mois selon lcontract.

Mezelt mahkitch maa my manager to tell him that i will leave since things arent quite clear ama as soon as i am accepted i will leave.

I am not ready to spend 3 months passation w ena andy ken 3 months 3adithom deja fel entreprise.

So habit naaref, if i discuss this with him and with the tiny chance li y9oli lezm passation w kol, chnouwa ynejem ysir men legal side ken i just stop showing up!

Is the other job requiring you to be there earlier than the three months or what ?

Why you don't want to go through passation ?

Also what's your type of contract ? CIVP or CDI ?

I forgot to mention a few details:

• i am on CDI
• the other job's start date depends on when my visa is accepted (as soon as i get it and they give me a date i need to leave the country but i can give a one month notice period at most as i have informed the host company)
• i cannot inform my manager about this situation because he could let me go ( i am fairly new to the company and i dont know his reaction)

Read your contratct well you sjould have a periode d'essai and within this period you're allowed to quit with no notice

In most startups I have dealt with, and Tunisian companies in general, the end period is usually negotiated. Depending on your role and how critical you are, if you deem your role as just a starter, it won’t take you much more than a month to leave. They might also suggest a shorter period. There is no need to worry about it. Good luck on your future endeavors.

في العادة، العقد فيه مدة تجربة تنجم تخرج و الا يطردوك من غير 3 شهور passassion. مدة التجربة توصل حتى لعام (و ظ��هرلي موجودة في قانون الشغل). اذا تنجم تخرج وقت ما تحب. اما الطريقة الافضل انك تتفاهم معاهم على شهر كيف امورك تتوضح. المشغل الجديد متاعك تو يتفهم الوضعية. ربي يوفقك.
