Yes but you see Trump doesn't give two squirts of runny shit about what happens to them or anybody else. He actively wants to punish the people who don't lick his boots hard or fast enough, and couldn't care less if the ones who do are collateral damage.

Trump doesn't give a shit about other Republicans. Either they fall in line or he sends his attack dogs after them. His loyalty extends only so far as they continue to do what he wants.
I am not confident in the GOP's ability to resist pressure from Trump. They keep putting up token resistance and then caving.
