*Description:** A Trophy that shows how many credits a user has earned throughout their participation in redditgifts exchanges. Official statement from Moderator about the Trophy[1].

*How to get it?:** A user needed to have participated in an exchange before the lifecycle for redditgifts shutdown in 2021. In the summer of 2021, Reddit officially announced that it was sunsetting redditgifts at the end of the year and that users could no longer register for accounts. Only users that have registered before the announcement was made would be able to participate in the next cycles of exchanges. More information can be found here[2].

*What are credits used for?**: The credit system is in place to try to ensure that people do not sign up for many exchanges just to receive gifts. This helps combat scamming and prevents new participants from overstretching themselves before they know all the rules. If a user fails to successfully complete an exchange, their credits will be reset to -1 until they complete all required steps[3] of the incomplete exchange. Once they have completed the exchange, all credits will be restored.

Exchange credits are what users earn for participating in and completing exchanges. They are free to earn, and users will accumulate more with each exchange they participate in and successfully complete.

One credit can be earned by doing the following:

A user participating and successfully completing an exchange.
A user participating as a rematch Santa and successfully completing the rematch. Only one credit is awarded for each exchange rematch. If a user rematched two or three times during the same exchange, they were only awarded one credit.

Everyone* begins with one starter credit when they sign up for Reddit Gifts, as a minimum of one credit is needed for nearly all exchanges.
