Charter Member

• *Description:** No official description.

• *How to get it?** You had to sign up for Reddit gold when it first launched in 2010. During this time there were no features to gold and it was purely to support Reddit with a payment and nothing in return. The few users who did this received the Charter Member trophy.

Around 2018 gold was renamed to premium.

Note that this also grants permanent access to /r/lounge, which is normally restricted to users with active Reddit premium subscriptions.
