Finally! I was able to figure this thing out and got Verified Email trophy.

The link redirects back to the reddit homepage. So what I did was:

1. Go to settings. Update email address. You will receive an email saying you need to update your password.

2. Update your password.

3. Go to settings again. Update email address. On the *new email address*, type your *current* email address. Then your *new* password.

4. You will now receive a verification email. Click *Verify Email Address* and there you go.

I have tap verify email a few times every day for about a week. I ve check every email including promotion and spam and I never receive the email. I'm new to reddit , I am learning how to work everything that is offered in Reddit. I'm wondering if any could help me with verifying email so I can proceed with application for help with gifts for my kids this year for Christmas.

I originally was logging in via google. I ended up having to to disconnect my google account. Before doing so, I changed my password. After disconnecting, I updated my email using the same email address which sent me a verification email. Clicked the link in the email to verify and the badge was awarded to my account.

My 7 year old won't be here until Tuesday to ta,e the picture, I have joint custody with his father and this is my year to have him christmas morning. If I summit it all Tuesday can I get help or can I send a picture of me and him and then one of me and my other 2 kids.
