seems that with a lobby of 4 (no mushrooms) you make enough damage to take it out in 2 Dmax phases if everyone just attacks and has high level attackers. So even if a Overheat oneshots you youd still be fine

The duo is crazy difficult for me.. I only have 1 blastoise and my kinglers Max move is only level 1.
I managed a successful duo but only after both players used shrooms ( used the free one).
My party was blastoise, charizard (dragon breath) and kingler (lv1 move).
Intellion would get one shotted by everything. Including single target ancient power where as charizard was able to tank everything except ancient power, so charizard makes sense because moltres has more fire moves than rock).

Just did duo no mushroom or helper gloves. We has just a teams of 2 DMAX blastoise and a GMAX blastoise as attacker. Went pretty easily, friend had full hp gmax left and I had full hp gmax and almost dead dmax
Moltres had fire blast as multi attack and heat wave as single. Also failed 1 dodge
