View submission: Admin wants “consistency” across all classes in each grade level, it seems like conformity to me

I agree, and typically this is my go to. I don't cause ripples, and I'm usually left alone. I have a class full of tricky kids and the learning support teachers and EAs frequent my classroom, so I'll have eyes on my classroom. My "tricky class" has responded well to me all year, and I quite enjoy them, though.

Until they come back and give you specifics, just keep on doing what you want and if they ask, have them describe what you are doing wrong and what specifically you should be doing.

I don't know what kind of collaboration time you would have. If there is none or very little ask "how are we supposed to be consistent if we don't have time to collaborate?" - you do have to be careful with a question like that because they may just offer collaboration time.
