My teen has started babysitting, and he is interested in taking a basic first aid class. I periodically see them come across my feed with free or cheap classes offered by Tacoma Fire, at the community center, etc. Of course, the instant I go looking, I cannot seem to find any. Does anyone know of any upcoming classes?

The user flair you select will show next to your username ***in r/tacoma only***. If you do not feel comfortable displaying a specific neighborhood in your user flair, you may choose "*253*" or "*Somewhere Else*". There are also options for "*Tacoma Expat*" and "*Potential Tacoman*".
You may add user flair via the main page of r/Tacoma. If you are not sure how to add user flair, please follow the instructions here[2].

It may be possible to have West, East or Central Pierce do the Safe Sitter class. It's a little more of a drive but gets the class completed easier.
