Why AMC, though? I've seen a bunch of stuff about how AMC could/will be next, but I can't see why/how it could happen.
Then again, I guess that's just how the stock market works...
EDIT: And the stock price has almost tripled since I posted this.

Eeehh, I agree it will be, just not so soon. Out of all the businesses opening after COVID movie theaters haven't even been discussed where I live. But I guess = rumors > news. But Blackberry has been my #2 highest earner after Gamestop... Holy shit this comment was something I never thought I'd type out. FYI, Nokia is also a semi-popular WSB stock for all the other 90s babies out there looking for nostalgia.

Nope.
AMC will have a little run but nowhere near GME. If only because the short interest was never as high.
But also there are no real foreseeable catalysts to drive the price up to squeeze the shorts. With GME we had Ryan Cohen and the console cycle juicing sales. Ultimately, even with high short interest, you need something that gets investors pumped about the stock to start buying and driving the price up enough to put the fear of god into the shorts to get the fuck out, which will raise the price more. Feedback loop without a trigger is no feedback loop.

AMC and BB are FUD.
They are trying to open more flanks in the battle. They want to spread the autism thin. GME is the tip of the spear, it needs to reach Berlin.

I have no experience in stock, but I somehow subscribes to WSB and I bought a few shares into AMC based off of their chaotic reactions. So far it looks good, not much gained. But I didn't spend much either, what you got to lose?

$BB is the most valuable in terms of wallstreetbets stock because the fundamentals point to them actually being successful pretty soon, or at least they’re undervalued right now. AMC is a total meme stock and the company itself is not in good shape. If you’re lucky you might be able to time it but if you want to be safe I wouldn’t stay in looking for crazy 300% increases.
