Or, and this is just an idea, a link to a gender war/equality/whatever subreddit doesn't belong on the sidebar of a TOTALLY UNRELATED webcomic.
It would've been equally as ridiculous and inappropriate for it to link to /r/feminism or /r/ancap or /r/banana or /r/subredditdrama.

I decided to go to /r/MensRights because of all the recent drama. It actually looks a bit like /r/atheism but the religion is feminism.

You complain about Munroe lumping /r/mensrights with a bunch of subreddits you don't like; then you lump those subreddits with claims of racism, antisemitism and holocaust denial. What a hypocrite you are.
If you think you can appease feminists and SJW asshats by throwing other men under the bus you're not only gravely mistaken but you're a fuckin' idiot as well. You are only giving them ammunition which they can use to gun down our potential allies. The last thing we need is dividing ourselves for easier conquering. Munroe decides to clearly lump /r/mensrights into the same category as those two. ...thanks to idiots like you who willingly spread falsehoods about anybody else so they might score some goodguy points TM.
/r/conspiracy has zero racism, for the record. Some people there are tired of the zionist movement and the US government pumping billions of dollars a year into the country just so they can go start shit with their neighbors and keep on poking them with a stick. Thats about as close to racism as you get there, people just not liking Israel, which has nothing to do with not liking Judaism.

Anyone who points out that racism exists in /r/conspiracy is immediately met with the response "you can be against Israel and not be a racist", as if the OP was saying that everyone who disagrees with certain actions of Israel are racists. 99% of the time the OP didn't even say anything of the sort and is simply saying that the sub harbors a higher percentage of anti semites than most, they're not saying most or even a majority of posters hate Jews. It's so ironic how people so concerned about having words being misinterpreted and taken out of context can immediatley assume that they know what the OP was meaning.

look at the Mods for XKCD. They are both mods of Holocaust and frequent submitters to many Anti-Semetic/White Power subreddits. Not really shocking there's more drama.

To be honest, I don't really find /r/MensRights the worst thing in the world. There are plenty of subreddits that are worst, and to their credit, they can have some insight into equality problems.
That being said, like any sub, they are possibly to strong headed, and their victimization can be frustrating.
Then again, I'm sure there's certain trends and subs that the other gender does not like at all.
