Sleepy as heck. But it seems to be working. I’m not having suicidal thoughts as much. And my manic episodes don’t seem to be stretched out as long as before getting on it as well as my depression episodes, they don’t seem to last as long but still there. As the days go by I seem more motivated to get up and get things done instead of just dwelling all day. I don’t snap as much at others and my temper seems to be semi controllable.. it’s only Been 3 weeks

I got it for sleep and it’s way more than what I need, crazy how easy they’ll just hand it out to people who dont really need it

Saved my life. I was prescribed it at 12 after a traumatic event and experiencing anxiety induced psychosis along with a lifetime of insomnia even when I was a newborn.

I'm an adult now and I've only had my dose increased by 25mg. I'm really grateful to be so stable on a medication. It holds me together. I take it every night before bed and sometimes as needed during pannic attacks.

Only con has been the withdrawals. I miss a dose about once every two years and it's hell

I haven’t hallucinated in about six months and my delusions are very mild, I’m not constantly suicidal and it finally doesn’t take multiple hours to fall asleep, when I don’t take the medication I constantly shake and feel hot, seroquel has changed my life for the better

I’m on 400 mg at night and 50 mg in the morning. It defs helps stabilized my mood and gives me a handle on my emotions (for the most part) but I’m depressed and sleepy all the time. Feel like a zombie and have no interest in really anything. I’ve been working out to manage stress (at least I can make myself do that) and trying to be sober too. Doc is gonna add Wellbutrin soon so hopefully that will help.

Hi everyone. I’m not bipolar or anything I just take it for sleep. Do I actually have to be tired tired for it to work? Like is there a better time to take it at night? If that makes sense?I’m on 100mg of this stuff and I haven’t got tired and knocked out like it usually does.

Very successful mono therapy for bipolar2 / ptsd / bpd. Between 300-600mg over the last decade after a total fucking breakdown from an exploitative sociopath employer. Yep, you gone be a zombie for a little while but when you stabilise you will sleep every night, wake up feeling alive enough to function and it takes an almighty set of circumstances to make me disassociate now. My psych made a good call and it’s been the difference between being an inpatient and an outpatient

This has helped with terrible insomnia that I’ve struggled with since I was a baby! I was finally diagnosed with bipolar and tried numerous medications and different combos but this has helped after a very bad manic episode . I’m glad to have found this. I do feel sleepy more than usual but once I get up I don’t wanna go back to bed, I just want to go on with my day and do “regular” shit . Once I take it at night, I start a movie or show and I knock out within an hour. It’s been since late September and I gotta say I’m feeling way better than I was before and wouldn’t change where I’m at. 50mg is good, and the weight gain, not so much actually so I’m happy for that. The want to even get up and go take a walk has helped me stay away from the weight gain I guess. For me, it actually has suppressed food cravings. I don’t eat TOO much junk like I used to, sometimes it makes me sick to my stomach thinking of food but I still eat.

Hi. I started this one a week ago because Prozac wasn’t working anymore.. But I’m really really scared about weight gain 😔 Prozac had an appetite suppressant effect, but I like my body this way (that’s the only thing I’m ok with..) Could you please tell me that some of you didn’t gain weight :/

Thank you 🙏🏼

I have been taking it for 20 years. It was crucial to stabilizing my mood. To me it has been superior to other antipsychotics to include Zyprexa, Risperdal, Abilify and Haldol. I have taken as much as 800 mgs a day. I wouldn’t claim that it was weight neutral for me but I didn’t see the weight gain I have seen with other meds.
