Perhaps the Conservative party of Canada can still squeak out a victory over the Liberal Party. Polling had the Liberal party surging after Trump issued the threat of tariffs.
I would think that Trump would work better with a potential Conservative government of Canada but if the Tariff threat remained, the Conservative leader would do the same that Trudeau and now Carney have done.

Carney is on record publicly disparaging Trump, and he’s also a fan of the climate goblin Greta Thunberg.
