Anyone who cares about their account, link it with an email right now.
I lost my main account just a few days ago because it got suspended due to unusual activity, but I never added an email so that account it now lost forever.
I’m a sad cucumber.

Wouldn't surprise me if they were just going through the whole user database a little at a time, sending those messages, just to force people to associate an email and verify the email is good.
Everyone I've talked to in RL who has a reddit account has gotten one of those messages.

Exact same thing happened to me! This announcement has to be in response to a breach, or something other than just a PSA.
