I really dislike rebuttals like this as it gives in to the distorted definition of DEI the right wing is trying to establish. DEI stands for the most qualified person for the job, regardless of gender, race, or orientation. It sets all of those variables aside and focuses on qualifications, expertise, and merit.
Don't let them lock in new definitions like this...it works against us more than it helps.
