Why not visit some historical places and museum like Kawit Cavite, Barasoain Church in Malolos Bulacan etc. places that played an important part in our independence.
Also, every Sunday the entrance fee in National Musuem is waived.

Metro Manila Pride[1] is having their 21st annual pride march on June 27. If you're gay, bi/pan, trans*, ace, have no fucking idea and/or just want an excuse to wear a rainbow, I'd suggest you go. It would be two weeks after the Great Reddit Meet-up which is a long enough break.

Fiesta in Tacloban June 30. Always a good thing. I'd like to call it Pintados but it seems as if the parades have an identity crisis due to some political conflicts.
Regardless I'm sure everyone is going to have fun. :)

Apalit Town Fiesta is on June 28-30!
This is in honor of the town's patron saint, St. Peter the Apostle (locally known as Apung Iru). The highlight of this fiesta is the fluvial parade which will ply the stretch of the Pampanga River that courses through town. There will be street dancing, bazaars and lots of merrymaking! Come see it! :)

I will be going to Manila in a couple days for a very brief visit, and I would like to know how/where to best exchange some cash. I will be flying in from America arrive on a late Friday night. I was thinking about just exchanging a bit at the airport to cover my hostel and taxi costs, but where should I go if I want to exchange more money and get a fair rate?
