I am a white South African and I would like to remind Elon that white South Africans own the VAST majority of private land in South Africa. This is all a holdover from colonialism and apartheid.

These numbers are IN SPITE of these supposed "racist ownership laws" that Elon is complaining about. These laws are actually very mild attempts at redressing injustices of the past.
This is entirely in line with his support of Israel wherein the theft of Palestinian land and homes is ignored and any attempt to fight back is framed as the real injustice.

If people were wondering how Elon became so right wing he didn’t. He always was. He grew up with rich white parent, and was probably raised in a racist environment that taught him equality laws were bad. As he grew older and gained more wealth his true opinions became more obvious and emboldened.
