It looks like a Cornish cross meat chicken. They grow huge really fast, but start to have heart issues and stroke out after 10 weeks or so (unless you put them on a major diet). That's why it's very wide compared to regular chickens.

I'm not a chicken expert but aren't decent roosters quite valuable? They're worth far more as a coop manager than as dinner lol. Do you know how old he is?

Its highly likely a pet - we have one that wanders in our apartment complex - and she loves pettings and 100% used to being around humans - even the kids can pet her lol

Bring it to Saint Adelbert Church in Cleveland. I think it’s around 85th St. They have an entire coop and some goats and they’d be glad to take in another chicken.
