Is it smarter to wait for financial aid packages before committing? Or just commit? Because I feel like I’m missing opportunities and I won’t be able to apply for things like housing early. I just don’t want to be in debt and not know how much financial aid I have 🤷🏽♀️

Just commit. It doesn’t impact aid or merit

Just commit you can break your commitment if you choose you just lose what you paid. It will be helpful with housing if you do go here because the first to commit get first pick.

I didn't commit until I got my aid package and ended up still getting the first orientation available and picked a decent schedule. For housing, it was okay but people that committed earlier than me got Morrill or no ac dorms. I would definitely wait to compare aid unless you're set on OSU.
