Hello everyone, I plan to move to Greensboro around June for wrestling training at the Fire Star Pro Wrestling school which is just outside Greensboro on the west side near-ish to the airport, can anyone tell me anything about Greensboro, how it is, safety, recommendations (shops, stores, local stuff, events, restaurants, etc!), tips, etc etc, mostly safety in and around those areas, thanks!

It’s pretty mid as you can get. Safety wise, we have ‘crime’ but it’s usually not random acts, mostly people getting shot over women or gangs etc. So if you are just here as an athlete I wouldn’t worry about that. The reason I say ‘mid’ isn’t a bad thing depending on who you are though. Our city just does nothing great, but it also doesn’t seem too bad to live here. Perfect example is our downtown. It isn’t ‘dead’ but it’s not alive either. We have some cool spots downtown such as arcades with bars(recommend boxcar or bourbon bowl on the same block) and more

I will kick it off by saying I heard of a all you can eat Sushi Restaurant. I never been and I hear they have some rules on what you take, you eat, but I want to go before I die.

Greensboro's fine, or at least was when I lived there years ago. Some areas have crime but they're typically areas you would expect higher crime. I never had an issue while I was living there. Lots of good stuff downtown.
