View submission: do people with schizophrenia who also need glasses see their hallucinations clear or blurry when not wearing glasses?

Not the person you asked, but I have schizoaffective disorder (think schizophrenia, but it comes in episodes), and a similar delusion.

It's not masks for me, but rather, I become convinced that it's a monster in someone's skin. I look for pointed teeth. If they have those or yellowed eyes (supplied by my brain) it's a skin walker.

So when I am in an episode, and I start looking at teeth, it's because the vibes are off. I "feel" the evil. Obviously pointed monster teeth and goldish eyes are terrifying, but it's really a thing of feeling rather than how they look.

Someone I know recently has been going through episodes like this. Unfortunately, it hasn't been pinpointed what is exactly causing it.

Apparently, what you described is a lot like what they see. And the descriptions of us they do give are something. But they're aware it's really us.

Hope you're doing well.
