View submission: do people with schizophrenia who also need glasses see their hallucinations clear or blurry when not wearing glasses?

This is on par with what i was thinking. It probably depends on your baseline state of how your subconscious creates imagery (like imagination, dreaming, etc) and probably is largely impacted by amount of time spent with or without glasses.

Yeah. To a 7 year old whose first experience with glasses was crazy thick bifocals, my glasses kind of became a core part of my identity.

I am pretty sure I was the only second grader with glasses in my whole class.

I imagine that if I had gotten them later in life, or if my prescription hadn’t been as bad as it is, would have resulted in a much different experience with my dreams.
