View submission: U.S. Politics megathread

After a 10-hour workday, the last thing I want is to log onto Reddit and see nothing but Trump/Elon posts and memes since Monday. I just want an hour of normal Reddit content, free from U.S. politics. If this is going to keep up for another four years, I seriously need a way to block it. How do I block all US politics related posts?

I get the sentiment, but you can't just block U.S. politics out of your life. They affect you no matter how hard you try to ignore them.

Reddit enhancement suite allows you to block posts that contain certain words in the title. But obviously just a title saying: LOOK AT THIS NAZI isn't going to be filtered by the words "Trump" or "Musk", so it's not a perfect solution.

You can't use r/all or r/popular in the year 2025, it's pure insanity to try and do so. If you want to stay sane using this website, you need to use only the subreddits you're subscribed to, and curate that list strictly.
