A link or phrase posted when people fall for a satirical product made by the prankster ObviousPlant[1] and Redditor u/obviousplant by mistaking it for a genuine product. Real “off brands” of varying quality can be found on Reddit[3] and *caveat emptor* (“Buyer Beware” i.e. the buyer purchases at their own risk) on any of those subreddits as we also have an unhealthy amount of scammers[4] on Reddit. That cute T-Shirt or print[5] you see on a random sub won’t be what it looks like either.
