Gold; Gilding; Guilding

Giving a user an award is referred to as "gilding" (or sometimes “guilding”) and posts that receive awards are called "gilded." Reddit Gold is an award giving you Premium Reddit and 100 coins to spend. The original Reddit meaning for Gold has changed over the years[1].
