Chonker

An animal that is larger than it should be; usually a cat[1]. Using this word (or the shorter “Chonk”) as a term of endearment about an overweight animal is actually a contentious issue on Reddit[2]. r/Chonkers is a subreddit for posting pictures or memes involving chubby cats, along with a disclaimer that they don’t wish to promote cat obesity, and have links in their sidebar about cat health and weight loss. r/Delightfullychubby accepts other animals too but is still mostly cats.

r/chonkerhate is a sub who clearly don’t agree with the trend of glorifying obese and overweight animals, and a user made a guide[3] to show the difference between glorious chub and horrendous fat.
