One person just up and started DM'ing me about Bitcoin, and kept trying to sell me the crap. Even after I told him I don't have the money like that. Can't afford even a $250 investment.
Then I asked a question in r/AskDocs about vomiting blood, and a med student DM'd me asking me to pay him money (through BuyMeACupOfCoffee.com). And that sub has verified docs that will tell you stuff wo asking for money. So I didn't trust the "med student", even though his page said he needed to fund going to somewhere in Africa to help. Couldve been a scam.
And I do remember their names. I was just told by a Mod here not to mention names once.

Soliciting like that is very much against Reddit’s rules. Even if you thought the “med student” was legit, there are specialised subreddits where they should be asking for help, not sending DMs to random redditors.
This is a matter for admin to sort out, and https://reddit.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new[1] has a drop-down list and I think this might come under content policy violations.
