A worldwide tradition embraced at Reddit, as you might expect. Many Subreddits change their theme or subject matter[1] for the day. For 2021 at r/NewToReddit, I did a copypasta/bait-and-switch about calculating Reddit Karma[2]. Some past sitewide examples have gone down in Reddit history and are still talked about now, especially 2015’s ‘The Button’.
