Hey all, my baby has never been a great sleeper, but we started sleeping through the night (7pm-6am) at 12mo.

But about 3-4 weeks ago at 14mo, he started waking *screaming* at 5am. He's been sick, so we've assumed it might be headache, tummy upset, teething z whatever. But now he's waking crying every day at 4-5am and it's killing us.

He's down to one nap of generally 1.5-2.5hrs, he gets a big bottle of milk last thing before bed.

Has anybody else dealt with this?

My baby is the same age and is down to one nap a day too! This may sound silly, but have you tried to keep a little water bottle by his bed? I heard when they wake up crying they may just be very thirsty in that moment and a drink of water may help a ton

Regressions happen, it sucks.  My daughter didn’t sleep through the night till she was two, and I’m still in the thick of it with a 4mo old now.  You’re definitely not alone!

I heard somewhere it takes like 7 years for parents sleep to fully recover from kids and it certainly feels that way sometimes.  Then again, my oldest is 7 and he still occasionally wakes us up at night lol
