Tweeds sell for like six pennies and a skittle online. It's amazing how good a quality you can get, for how low a price. You could buy XL, outdated, weirdly cut tweed (or camel) jackets and take them apart with a seam ripper and use the wool shell for the insides of blankets, far cheaper than you can actually buy any sort of quality fabric even direct from a mill. You could be so warm as to make winter tuck its tail for like twenty-eight dollars. But if you go buy it new, it's like a grand.

This is what I also think, I feel this is the same story for some of the vintage pieces of clothing I have purchased through thrifting , someone’s dad has moved on and they just simply donate everything in the closet
