So from my notes and various articles, it’s clear to invest in Nifty 50 and Nifty Next 50 / Nifty Midcap 50 📈

But why do we have to invest in these two funds? What’s the reason ❔

Let’s break it down step by step 📊

🫧 We are investing in Nifty 50 & Nifty Next 50 / Nifty Midcap 50 because of stability and for high risk-high reward

🫧 Why should I go with Nifty Next 50 when I can invest in Midcap 50? Because Nifty Next 50 acts like a midcap, It is a little less volatile than midcaps but provides similar returns

🫧 Now, should we keep Nifty 50 & Nifty Next 50? Yes, that’s the perfect portfolio (according to me)

🫧 Can I invest in just 1 fund, that is Nifty 100, which invests in both Nifty 50 & Nifty Next 50? Yes, that’s even better, Let’s cover it in the 5th point

🫧 Nifty 100 invests in both Nifty 50 + Nifty Next 50, but the weightage towards Nifty 50 stocks is around 80% and towards Nifty Next 50 it’s around 20%

🫧 But will I miss out on returns from Nifty Next 50 because of this allocation? No, the return difference between Nifty 50 and Nifty Next 50 isn’t that much

🫧 So if you increase the allocation, then you are taking a risky bet. According to me, we should reduce risk and systematically increase the returns

🫧 Is the portfolio complete?

🫧 Invest in equity & debt

🫧 There should be 1 core fund, 1 global fund & allocation towards debt funds

why not invest in flexi caps/mid caps which have beaten the market consistently? for that matter even small caps over long time periods

also, can't seem to find the paragraph in the article about nifty
