Just saw that the Reddit Global MeetUp is on the 22nd of June. Is r/Munich planning something?

I'd love to meet some redditors in Munich.

Edit: seems like there is enough interest. Any suggestions in how to get everyone together? Someone suggested a Facebook event, I'd be willing to put that up, but then again some people don't have Facebook. Anyone have any ideas?

Edit 2: I think the easiest and most reliable way is to use a WhatsApp group. Please PM me your phone numbers and we will do organisational stuff over WhatsApp, such as location and event detail. I will also get in contact with the responsible people to get our event listed on reddit.

Dont worry, I won't forward or give your numbers to anyone, I wouldn't even know what to gain from that.

Edit 3: if you're not comfortable with PM ing me your phone number, just send me a PM saying you're interested and I will send you the invitation link, so you can add yourself to the chat.

There were 2 different whatsapp group of redditors(or maybe they are still active) made to arrange a meetup but were only used for drunk messages. We could try again creating a whatsapp group.

Went to one such meet up last year but not many people came. Whatsapp group is kind of dead by now as well. Made one good friend out of it though so that's something!

I'd join if I have time.

Hey guys! I proposed to meet at the Cafe&Bar that I work, Shadow Bean at the Augustenstraße. We opened not so long ago and would be more than happy to have a redditors Meetup. We offer cakes and Tapas, we have Giesinger, Ciders and the common cocktails, and we have place for 30 people sitting comfortably.

We also are hosting every monday at 19:00 a Magic Spielabend, in case anyone is interested to come play with us ;)
