My recommendation to everyone ever is to always check goodrx and also chat with the pharmacist! Pharmacies frequently have their discount with different manufacturers as well where they can sell at you close to wholesale rate + a little on top to cover their labor. Also chat with your doctor or whoever is doing prescribing. They generally know the good local pharmacies and the bad ones (the good ones will work with you to lower medication costs).

Even when I had good private insurance (all meds $20), goodrx would frequently have a coupon that would bring it down to $10 which made it worthwhile to not use insurance anyways.

I checked and I see goodrx has vials at $50, estradiol patches at $35 (same benefits as needles, i.e. better efficacy, but now you need to keep a sticker attached to you vs taking a weekly injection. In my case I have extremely sensitive skin and no fear of needles so I prefer injections), and tablets at $10-$20.

In certain states, planned parenthood provides free prescriptions, and there's plenty of other informed consent clinics around. Anywhere you have a major city you'll find an LGBT friendly clinic- yes, even in the deep south.

Totally agree with this, also don't forget Mark Cuban's CostPlusDrugs! They take what it costs overseas and to operate, add 15%, and sent it your way for WAY cheaper. :3
