View submission: Generational Montanans
I had Montana history in I think 2008 as a sophomore. Lewis and Clark are always overemphasized in my opinion but we talked a lot about the copper kings and the destruction of Montana's ecosystem on the behalf of rich out of staters and what was done. Can't say everyone paid attention though I suppose.

Yep, I was a sophomore several years earlier. We had world history that year and something call “global issues” freshman year - a class no one paid attention in if I remember. Glad Montana history was put in the curriculum.
