Scheduled posts seems to have an error where they miss schedule if the mod who created them steps down, even if they are posting by automod.

Opening each and re-saving it did not change it to set by the new mod who did so, meaning every scheduled post needs to be deleted and re-created if the original mod leaves.

This seems like such a waste of time if they are set to automod. I can see not wanting them to post by a demodded member but perhaps they can have an update button?

This is definitely what happens, I tested it a few days ago. A notification and/or option to change the post creator would be handy if it's possible. But potentially good it doesn't automatically go ahead.

Edit - clarification... there are notifications when a post fails. No notification when a mod leaves. But I mean a notification if a mod who made a scheduled post leaves/no longer has the right perms (post/flair) for the post to work, so it can be fixed and not missed, if it's possible.

I can see how this is an issue.. Let me bring it to the team and see if we drum up a fix. Thanks, y'all!

Would we prefer it to just update the owner if you edit the post in any way? I'm pretty sure we could add that in pretty easily

I guess this means I can't be removed as mod, since I built all the auto mods. I figured my work was done.
