If an other monster model hurls a model at a fellbeast model does the fellbeast get knocked prone? Even through the fell beast has a str value of 6? For example an eagle would not get knocked prone but would they get knocked prone if radagast was flying it? Or does only the rider get knocked prone in this case? Obviously if the rider of a fellbeast gets knocked prone the fellbeast flees. This question is in reference to the part "If it is a cavalry model then it is also knocked flying".

The model is strength 6, so if a model gets hurled at the fell beast, the FB and the rider will take a S6 hit, but there will be no dismounts, as the cavalry model as a whole, is considered S6.

Now if FB model as a whole is the one being thrown (by a model S7 or higher), then yes, it would be knocked flying.

Edit: I just reread the rule… and I guess they have a separate clause after the S5 clause, specific to cavalry being dismounted. So I guess I’m wrong. Cavalry, regardless of strength, gets knocked flying now.

As my understanding, no. The fell beast doesnt get knocked flying because it doesnt get knocked proned. Being the second effect a result of the first one over cavalry.

The fell beast wouldn't be knocked prone because it's strength 6, but the rider is Knocked Flying (and in the fell beast's case, that would cause the fell beast to flee, and leave the rider prone). I believe the rider will take a strength 6 hit from the hurl plus a strength 3 hit from getting Knocked Flying.
