It is my opinion that no man should fight one another. Not under the guise of “doing ones duty” and certainly not under the guise of “having to protect females”.

It is immoral for views about men to be as if they’re creatures made for fighting. MEN ARE NOT MADE FOR WAR. They are made for love.

Children, women and men first. Nobody left behind!

Let drones do the fighting, I don’t care. We must all stop expecting men to fight in war. No male should be conscripted, ever.

Feminists often argue that they deserve privilege to make up for past discrimination. By the same logic, presumably women should fight all the wars for the next few millennia.

Only 10% of the left-wing Greens, a self-proclaimed feminist party in Germany, are prepared to defend their homeland with weapons. But they are currently the world champions of intensifying the war against Ukraine at the expense of men.

would you defend your home + family and they defend you?

to go further why should people work for the police or as firefighter if everybody just looks after himself?

i would also not fight a foreign war for greedy politicians but i would have fought for human rights/liberty...

no to conscription!

"Men are not made for war... They're made for love."

We've evolved for the survival of ourselves and our species. Unfortunately as long as someone has some resource someone else wants there will be conflict.

Now that society is redefining gender roles and "equality" it should be discussed what is everyones responsibility.

Of course the ideal should be a world without war, but it seems we're still a long way from that unfortunately.

I hope every leftist from all the countries promoting war and asking ukraine to stand its ground to be the first ones to be sent to the battlefield

It's a lovely sentiment, truly, but it kinda falls apart when it meets the reality that there are some willing to fight and kill for what they believe and meek acquiesce to them will not make the world a better place. The current situation in Ukraine is a great example, do we really think that the lot of the average man in the street in Kyiv or Mariupol or Kherson would be improved by letting Russia just roll in and do whatever the fuck it wants? Have you looked at their human rights record lately?

This is a nice sentiment but I can't agree. Wars of aggression, sure but some wars are wars of defence.

I'm opposed to conscription but wars will happen and ultimately men are better equiped to fight in wars. Additionally men are more interested in combat meaning even a volunteer army is likely to be mostly men.

" not under the guise of “having to protect females”."

I mean I think protecting the women and children of your nation from aggression is a completely legitimate aim based solely on the fact that they are less able to do it themselves.

I don't think you should HAVE to do it but I would not say that you SHOULDN'T do it.

Additionally there is a self preservation aspect to this as well. If you just let the enemy roll over you than odds are they're going to be inclined to kill all or a lot of the men and incorporate the women into their society.

I'm no Hillary Clinton on this issue but it's not like that scenario is a win for women either. As many disagreements as I may have with the women in my country, they are my siblings in a way and leaving them to the mercy of some foreign invader would not sit right with me even if we were to imagine an unlikely scenario where my own fate would not be as bad or worse.

The harsh reality is that is incredibly short sighted.

Men are absolutely designed for war, by nature.

Men's natural responsibilities are: protect, provide, lead.

Part of protection is fighting. We should try every avenue to avoid that. But, that has a limit. And certain circumstances only allows for fighting. To claim otherwise, is to avoid the harsh reality of nature. Without the proclivity of violence, our species would've died off a long time ago.

That proclivity though has a down side. It means that there will always be outliers. Those that seek to take what is ours. In which case, the others must be able to stand up to defend that. Hence, wars.

Women are designed for: helping, nurturing, supporting. They can be fighters. But in large generalizations, only in supporting roles for men.

So that leaves men to fight, by in large.

I follow this sub, just to see an alternative point of view.

I accept that men get the raw deal a lot of the time.

I am not saying that "men" should be discarded; but in the face of evil (and there is real evil in the world), it takes a man to be a shield and protect his wife and kids.

Men are, without question, made for combat.

How, or if that's applied, that's a different question.

Men’s rights doesn’t mean men should stop being men. We are the protectors. Be a man and stop whining.

The flaw in your logic is that drones will kill men on one side, and then the other side will kill men with their drones. If your goal was to have less men die, technology isn’t the answer. The more war technology advances, the more deaths ensue.
