Looking Through the comments I've learned this is called handball. Does anyone know of any decent matches I could watch or interesting teams I could learn about? This sport has sparked my interest.

France and Denmark are one of the best handball team in the world. Look some matches on youtube. Also handball world cup has amazing matches

The german Handball Bundesliga, self-called Strongest League in the World (a lot of players from all over the world play in German Clubs). Mens World Cup was at the beginning of the year, some games might be on youtube (Denmark won it against Croatia, they are dominating International Handball right now). Womens World Cup is happening at the start of December 2025.
