Im in not planning on staying here for long. Im here with my Mom while I get a 2 year degree from SLCC (in Lafayette) . She wanna go to Houston after I graduate. Im majoring in Desogn & Drafting and I kinda know the answer but after I get this degree, is it more beneficial to save money on rent staying in Saint Martinville and hold down a job in Louisiana or pay the rent which will be high in Houston but possibly make more money in TX?
Want your suggestions please.

Just make sure you didn’t enroll on slcc.edu or your classes with be in Salt Lake City, Utah. I see articles every year where someone gets the schools confused

Houston is expensive and getting worse.
Louisiana is a slightly, very slightly, less expensive shit hole.

Do you want to move to Houston? I’d say stay where you can to save as much money as possible.
