It’s late in the afternoon, not sure if anyone will see this but I had a shitty morning. While out walking the dog this creepy man I walked against on the sidewalk stopped then turned around and followed us. A block away I purposefully took off my sunglasses, made eye contact, and crossed the street in a “circle” and he was obviously following me. I yelled at him and he eventually went the other way but kept turning around. Anyway long story short I got home, got in my car, found him on my street this time, followed him loitering around the neighborhood, and called LAPD. I’m just feeling annoyed and terrorized in my neighborhood. I’ve changed my walking route due to transient encampments and now this. He looked transient. What’s the solution? I feel bad for many of them, but some of these transients are so freaking hostile - we see the random attack stories all the time. Anyway, hope LAPD found him, if he attacked someone else I would’ve felt horrible not reporting it. Thanks for listening.

fuck that shit.

Good job reporting it. Even if they don't arrest him, it's smart to start a paper trail for possibly crazies.

Otherwise I have no idea what you can do beyond taking a baseball bat with you on your walks to look and be intimidating.

(Always avoid and evade before escalating)
