I want something amazing and super fun with tons of energy that’s also mad chill and has tons of girls who aren’t stuck up and the music is just what I like (neo polka step) and is safe and also not too expensive and pref open bar? Also can someone give me a lift? I’m in Sylmar.

I'm a single white female who is not a stalker but *is* kind of quiet and introverted *but* kinda likes to dance who is *kinda* thinking about hitting up a party or bar this new years in Los Angeles. Because I live here. With my parents. Anyone know anything or if I sound interesting (lol), or both, lmk!

Is there a Reddit Meetup planned for Grand park? If not, would people be interested joining if I organize one?

I'm hosting a Smash Bros Ultimate party at my place near Pasadena. Will have plenty of controllers, including gamecube ones, just need food and drinks. We're starting at 8pm until whenever. Gonna see a lot of old friends

My ex invited me to his NYE party along with his other ex, who I just recently found out he'd cheated on me with for a couple years. I decided I'd rather not attend.

Should I post the address here and have a ton of redditors show up unannounced to his house?

I'm 98% joking.

Hi all!

My bff and I (both girls if that matters) are looking for a fun house party for New Years. We could do a bar/club but we don’t feel like paying a ton of money for what’s most like to be an overcrowded space where getting a single drink takes 20 min. We’re both in our late 20s and I’d like to think we’re fun & cool AF :)

(And of course, we’ll bring our own booze)

Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know if Santa Monica is doing a firework show this year, or is the only one on the westside in Marina Del Rey? If not, are the MDR fireworks pretty visible from the Santa Monica Pier/Beach?

Never really gone out for New Years. Any suggestions for a single guy looking to go to LA area for the night?

Hey people, my girlfriend, best friend and family are all out of town for NYE. Anyone up for a chill-ish night of tabletop games at a west side / LA bar or something? (Catan, 7-wonders, lords of water deep, pandemic and a few others are in my closet)

First time for NYE where I am alone for the festivities. No plans either.

Guess it’s Red Dead 2 into the New Year for me...

Might just be me and my girlfriend in the long beach area. Anyone know anything going on that's 21+ but still somewhat quiet? I don't want to be around kids but I also don't want to be in a club. Kinda like finding a needle in a haystack so I understand if there's nothing.

I'll throw this into the ring, for those who enjoy concerts on NYE

Good band, good venue.

Hey I (literally) just got out of the hospital and can't drink or go out with friends but I don't want to be alone on New Years and have a sweet pad to host.

Looking for 5-7 people for a very chill evening, BYO-. Happy to host 10PM - 2AM, doing all the kitschy stuff (watching the ball drop, singing auld lang syne, a bottle of champagne to pop at midnight, although I won't be having any).

I have Netflix, Amazon, Spectrum, so we can watch movies or I love board games, etc if anyone is into those. Friendly, but not overly so, natural host, late 30's, relaxed, mature, chill, funny. BYO-. Hit me up if you'd like a last minute invite!

Don't worry if I don't get right back to you, I'll probably check back in about an hour.

Has anyone ever been to the Queen Mary NYE party? Hoping they have other options besides the club-y atmosphere but I can’t really find many details

Need something to do with my broad. We usually stay home and end up napping through midnight. Looking for something low key, lounge or house party vibe with some 90’s hip hop type of deal.

I saw the streamliner at union station has tables for four people at 250.00 which isn’t too bad compared to what I’ve seen but don’t know the atmosphere.

I’m also willing to crash your party with some herbage if that’s your thing.

Ozzfest still has plenty of tickets. Main acts are Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, and Jonathan Davis (from Korn). Starts at 2:30pm and ends after 12am. Well worth the money for 10+ hours of music.
