I hope they get a new home. The manger is a great guy and told us all about how they're basically being forced out by people who want to knock the building down for redevelopment. He's been there 40 years and always paid his rent on time and this is how he's repaid. Disgraceful stuff, but this is just how we treat each other in 2025.

Last time I went there was a few years ago but the service was slow & pretty poor, and the food was over priced and pretty poor - not sure if it’s any better than it was but honestly didn’t warrant saving.

just to add though, people seriously complaining about the place being pricey while there's places charging London prices springing up everywhere and dominating sections of Liverpool so that younger people and new-comers think its normal.
yeah it costs more than maccies but its also not a massive multinational chain with ways to push prices into the ground.

I've used it for years, mainly through just eat.. it beats Maccies or most other burger joints. At least they did full brekkies as well!!

Tbf it's been an anachronism for three decades. It's not a 'Wimpy'. It has been a cafe/restaurant that has the Wimpy name.
They might be better if they rebrand as an independent.
