... and what would happen in it?

I would like to see what happened in Caroline's wild past! How she got to know Konstantin, how she got to have so many secret contacts, and how she got involved in the intelligence community in the first place.

Carolyn. Carolyn. Carolyn.

Edit: I botched her name, not only once, but thrice.

Definitely Nico. He’s so fascinating, I’d love to know more about him.

....kidding. I want to know what drugs Carolyn Martens was taking when she saw a rat drinking from a coke can.

Villanelle and her backstory for sure. I guess up to the point where she escapes prison and trains to be an assassin. That would be wickedly cool

Irina Vasiliev, Konstantin's daughter. That kid was amazing.

Kenny and Carolyn! I want to know more about his upbringing and what she’s been up to in the past.

The two other characters that have some depth are Carolyn and Konstatin.

Carolyn because she isn't the seemingly maternal figure she appeared to be in S1E1-2, but more complex, potentially evil, and definitely dangerous. I know many like me want to see the whole mystery of "The Twelve" better explored but in the end the ambiguity of it all may fit better - she is a figure of the real spy world where friends and enemies shift back and forth.

Konstatin because like Carolyn he has been given depth (he has a "big" wife, and sparkplug daughter), and his actions aren't always obvious. Notice he seemed to be worry about V in the beginning and insists on her being "checked" by a psychiatrist presumably working for "The Twelve". Was it because he wanted to look after V? He finds her interesting, but at a distance, so he knows she is very dangerous. We see that he has tried to teach her - which is why V parrots the same lines Irina speaks about language and knowledge.

I don't know if there is enough there to sustain a whole series, but since they have announced a season 4 already, I hope they use a few episodes to fill in some more background on these two.

Hugo and Jess taking on other members of The Twelve. Set in between season 2 and season 3.

First: Young Villanelle what’s her back story, when/how was she recruited/trained, further exploration of her sexuality and her past relationships. Second: Caroline and her past and rise through the organization. What/who were her past relationships and who’s Kenny’s father.

Honestly? I'd like to see more of Eve's background. I'd love to know more about her past...or maybe not? EDIT: actually!! I'd love to see what Elena's up to now!

Given a choice between two more episodes a season and a spin-off show, I'd go with the extra episodes. Even though Villanelle, Eve and Carolyn are all strong and compelling characters, what makes the magic happen is how these three women navigate the space between them.

A "Young Villanelle" series doesn't really move the needle for me. I don't see Jodie Comer doing any other TV shows for a while once she's done with this one and the idea of any other actress playing Villanelle is a turn-off. Just my opinion.

They should do a spin-off show of young Villanelle

i honestly don't find many of the characters outside of Villanelle, Eve, and Konstantin very interesting. I think the show ought to just work on writing some more compelling supporting character which aren't so whiny.

We need to know more about Elena. I want an in-depth explanation of her background and motivations. Why does she make the decisions she makes. Like, why doesn't she want to get murdered?

I need answers, damnit!
