View submission: The Redacted Iraqi Jews
As an Iraqi, I would like to apologise to the Jewish people for any suffering my nation inflicted on yours when you were in our country. I am a Christian, and now the same thing is happening to us, persecution and fleeing. When we lost our Jewish population, we lost an important part of our cultural soul, one we unfortunately will never regain in the foreseeable future.
