The event all regular redditors wait for, GRMD, is here. Every year we try to get as many people in the r/HongKong[3] community to show up and meet each other in the flesh. This time I got things ready slightly later than I'd like but still early enough for people to make their plans.

This year we we are going back to the same venue we had last year and 2016. Everyone who attended were very happy about it.
Flat B, 9/F Good Year Industrial Building, 119-121 How Ming Street, Kwun Tong
There are assorted video games[4], board games[5], ping pong, and mah jong[6]. There will also be kararoke[7] and a giant twister. Sadly the silly costumes and dart board is gone.
And to be honest the selection of board games is a bit sparse. And they don't have a copy of Cards Against Humanity[8], I checked. So if you have any games you wish to share with other people, please bring them!

While the games are fun and all, the important part of GRMD is for people to come out and meet each other face to face and make new friends.
Kwun Tong MTR exit B3. Go down Hoi Yuen Road, walk down the block around the corner past HSBC to How Ming Street and it's right there.
The entrance[9] is actually a car park[10]. Go inside to the elevator lobby[11] to the 9th floor.
Buffet style, but not unlimited. If we run out of food and there are still hungry people we can call for take out.
There will be soft drinks available.
In the past not only we had people generously sharing excellent booze, some people even brought home baked goods[12], and vodka jello shots[13].
HK$260 per person flat fee if you prepay by the deadline (June 16th 23:59), HK$300 after the deadline or at the door. This will cover drinks and food.
This is necessary due to logistic and budget reasons, and more importantly I need to know how much food to order from the catering company (the amount of money I collect by the deadline will determine what and how much I order). Please help me out by pre-paying ASAP!And by prepaying by June 16th you have a chance to enter the lucky draw for this t-shirt. The t-shirt comes in M, L, XL (sorry don't have S sizes). We will be giving away 2 of M size, and 8 of L, 1 XL, and 2 XXL. Neckbeard not included.
1. Please do a bank account deposit/transfer to HSBC 002-7-332840 (WONG H** S** S**** ) $260 (for each person). Take a picture of the receipt and send by whatsapp to +852-96332968:
2. PayMe account to +852-96332968Please include the following information- Your name (and/or whatever alias you wish to identify yourself by)- The number of people coming- Size of t-shirt if you want to be in the lucky draw: M/L/XL/XXL (again, I don't have any S sizes)
Again, past the deadline the cost goes up to $300. Once I confirmed received payment I will put you in the super secret elite whatsapp group for super special elite people only.
And before anyone ask I will not be doing any tiered pricing. So don't ask if you can just come and play and not eat and pay less money, or if you are going to be late, or if you are going to leave early. It just make things more complicated for me and math is hard. Also, no exception for anyone on paying by the deadline.
If for some reason you are not able to do a bank transfer, PM me and we will see if we can arrange something. We will be doing 2 or 3 mini meetups before the deadline and you can try to meet me and pay me in person.
For those of you who are still on the fence, here are pictures from GRMD past few years:

Hi all, I'm a British born and bred.
I wish you all the luck and success in your protests against these tyrannical laws.
I feel connected because I grew up with HK (descent) good friends, so I feel emotionally attached to the people of HK (for what it's worth).
Does anyone know if there are protests happening in London?

I’ve fairly new to this sub, how many meet-ups are there throughout the year? Would love to meet some other Redditors!

I'm a bit interested. Would be more motivated to come if I can meet some Nintendo fans :> (I can bring my Switch set if that's welcomed). Also I'm 18 but I look younger than that, acceptable right?
Edit: I'm also curious about the nationalities of the attendees. I'm guessing all can speak fluent English and most can speak Cantonese

Heyooo. Vacationing in HK from San Diego. Meeting a friend tomorrow, but if I'm free in time I'd like to swing by. What's the price at the door if I'm able to make it? You can count on me to bring some 711 beers if I show. Cheers. -Dusty

The saddest thing is populations around the globe are all fully behind the Hong Kongers, but our governments have all sucked up to the CCP's trade deals instead of backing democracy. Shame on them

Hi! What time does this start? And do I need to RSVP or just show up and pay? Also, what time does this usually go on until? I’ve got something earlier in the evening, but would like to join later if possible. Sorry for all the noob questions!

"Alcoholic drinks will be BYOB, please bring enough to share. **Also, I like stouts**."
260$/ head, 300$ at the door. Multiply that by around 50 people that attend each year around 15,000. Party room + catering costs around 5,000. Which means you are already making 10,000 from these events. and you're still asking for people to bring you free alcohol? You are one hell of a faggot.

These HK cops are way too kind, if you attack any of the US cops you will get a (if not few) bullets in your head.
I'm a HKer living in the States, I don't support that law but this is not how you should protest.
Bunch of mobs, period.
