View submission: [Question]: Practice amp for low-volume jamming

Yamaha THR-10 is hard to beat. Nice and small and sounds great at the respective volume levels. It also FEELS very good to play through, personally I find it feels and responds much nicer than many of other amps in this segment. Very reliable and simple amp and the software and recording is all very easy to use. It looks good too. Can't beat it for an apartment.

Agreed, I have the thr10c and I’m constantly amazed at the natural feel of it. Also takes pedals better than any other modeling amp I’ve played.

For a bedroom/basement, how would the thr5 be?

Even the thr5 is at the extreme top of my budget plus a little bit for a little home practice amp
