There are quite a few apps for learning English phrasal verbs, but is there anything similar for Verben und Prapositionen? It's the kind of thing that I just need to learn off by heart and an app would really help.

Are you talking about seperable verbs? Although they're similar to English phrasal verbs, technically they're one word and operate differently.
But to answer your question, I am not aware of any apps that have lessons simply for verbs but I imagine they exist. However, learning verbs by themselves is not very efficient as it's much easier to learn them when they're used within context.
