View submission: Thoughts on trump’s economy?

Dude, you lost transitory inflation when they jacked up rates. If it was transitory rates wouldn’t have needed to go up. Soft landing will likely be wrong too, we could be in a recession already (we typically don’t know when a recession starts until it’s already over). You can blame trump, but it may have started before his tariffs took affect, but he also did nothing to prevent it. He clearly is willing to have one to realign the global economy

Wow, that was an entire paragraph of nonsense.

Transitory means temporary. It doesn't mean do nothing and everything will be fine. We are not at 9% inflation anymore.

Recession has a deliberate definition of 2 consecutive quarters of GDP decline. We have not had that at all. Fearmongering about a crypto-recession is still fearmongering.

The economy Trump inherited was the best that he could ask for. He singlehandedly destroyed the momentum by screwing over every single supply chain out of nothing but ego.
