Lol even more ways to monetize. And of course it’s first on a subreddit dedicated to the most popular game at the moment that’s mainly populated by children. Way to go, exploiting kids that don’t know any better.

I doubt many kids use Reddit, and by that logic literally anything that it purchasable can be considered as “exploiting kids” and in addition reddit needs to pay for various things such as keeping the servers online anyway.
